Psychotherapy, clinical psychology & health psychology

Setting

As a clinical psychologist and health psychologist I offer evidence-based support during psychologically troubling times and within the treatment of psychological disorders. My additional training in systemic family therapy enables me to take your social environment into account and aids as an additional perspective regarding possible interactions that impact your mental state and clinical symptoms. Within the therapy processes I often use pictographic methods (i.e. overview sketches or metaphors) as well as tools from systemic therapy (i.e. system board, constellation work, timeline) or hypnotherapy (i.e. imagination, trance).

My therapeutic approach focusses on our collaboration at an eye level (you are the expert for your experiences) as well as empathy for the diverse challenges of life. Additionally my love for clarity as well as humor at the right moments mark my therapeutic style. Due to my various professional experiences and trainings I am able to work trauma informed and include your physical symptoms/observations within your treatment. Our collaborative goals for the therapeutic process are guided by your individual desires/developmental aspirations.

In my therapeutic practice I work with teenagers (15+ years) as well as adults and persons of older age. I also offer therapy/counseling for couples and families as well as relatives of family members with psychological diseases.

For candidates in postgraduate specialist training for clinical psychology in Austria I offer supervision and therapeutic self-awareness.

A decision which family members are invited into the therapy/consultation process at a specific time is always made in accordance between the client and therapist. If the process can benefit I also offer family constellation as a method.
